With that, WSU’s first depth chart of the season will be out soon, likely Monday.

Some positions seemed fairly solid to start fall camp, some groups became clear by camp’s end.

And some, I’m willing to take a possible ‘L’ or two as I fill out a reporter’s educated prediction for what that will look like.

Of note, my main caveats to the following list include that Haze Hadley’s injury recovery is going well but I’m uncertain about how his reps will look to open the season. And, even when fully healthy, I expect Hadley and Jayleen Record to get plenty of reps in various ways anyway.

The other is that, in the safety group, sophomore Trevian Tribble suffered one of the team’s few significant fall camp injuries. It’s unclear how serious his injury is or the impact it will have on his season, but it seemed apparent at the final camp scrimmage that Week 1 is not on the table.
