ROY 8, SKY VIEW 5
ROY — Roy scored four runs in the first inning and four more in the fifth for a win over Sky View.
Logan Vorwaller batted 2 for 3 with one RBI and two runs scored for Roy (1-1). Connor Robinson drove in two on a single. Kaiden Bates earned the win with three hits and two strikeouts in three innings of relief.
BONNEVILLE 13, KEARNS 2
KEARNS — Bonneville scored in every inning except the fourth in a run-rule win at Kearns.
Ryker Allen batted 2 for 4 with two triples, two runs scored and one RBI for Bonneville (2-3). Wade Larsen went 3 for 4. Jet Hirschi, Paden Toula and Hudson Taylor each had two hits. Taylor pitched a complete game, with three hits and eight strikeouts over five innings.
NORTHRIDGE 11, GRANGER 1
WEST VALLEY CITY — Tyler Martin pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts to lead Northridge to a run-rule win at Granger.
Martin and Parker Jeppson each batted 2 for 3 with a double for Northridge (3-2). Kam Shirreffs and Mick Whitaker each hit two singles. Whitaker and Jeppson drove in four runs apiece.
MORGAN 23, HUNTER 2
WEST VALLEY CITY — Morgan scored 12 runs before Hunter batted in a road win.
Kanyon Leonelli and Tyson Talbot each batted 3 for 4 with a triple and combined for six RBIs for Morgan (5-1). Luke Bauerle hit a two-run double. Camron Talbot and Ryker Moser combined for a two-hitter.
HILLCREST 10, BEN LOMOND 0
MIDVALE — Kai Langston, Cade Becraft and Kale Ha’o got hits for Ben Lomond (0-1) in a shutout loss at Hillcrest.
DAVIS 4, CLEARFIELD 3
KAYSVILLE — Owen Talbot batted 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs to lead Davis past Clearfield on Monday.
Jaxon Marble went 2 for 3 with a double for Davis (2-0). Carter Garrett and Brody Mcguire each had a hit. Spencer Cannon earned the win in one inning of relief.
Hudson Meyer batted 2 for 4 and drove in two for Clearfield (0-1). Colt Chambers went 3 for 3 with one RBI. Matt Rudman batted 2 for 3 with a double and Logan Fenn added a double.
HERRIMAN 7, LAYTON 3
HERRIMAN — With Layton leading 3-1, Herriman scored six runs in the fifth inning to down the Lancers on Monday.
Nik Bielaczyc hit a two-run single for Layton (0-2). Austin Pritchett, Carter Schoenfeld and Caleb Jackson each added one hit.

PLEASANT VIEW — Addi Gibson batted 2 for 3 with a home run and five RBIs as West Field thumped Weber.
Ella Doxey went 3 for 5 with a double and drove in five for West Field (1-0). Ayzlee Sessions added three hits and three RBIs. The Longhorns hit seven doubles. Cambree Pierson pitched a complete game, with three strikeouts.
Aliya Rhees drove in one run for Weber (0-3). Gabby Montgomery hit 2 for 3 and stole two bases.
BOX ELDER 17, ROY 0
BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder scored 14 runs in the second inning in a three-inning win over Roy to open region play.
Sophomore Kennadie Blackmer batted 2 for 3 with two two-run home runs for Box Elder (7-0, 1-0 Region 5). Brooke Richards went 2 for 2 with a triple and a double. Kailee Hall hit a two-run triple. Lucy Griffin hit a double and drove in four. Lucy Braegger struck out eight and gave up one hit.
Quincy Johnson got the only hit for Roy (0-2, 0-1).
BONNEVILLE 5, WOODS CROSS 2
WASHINGTON TERRACE — Bonneville led 3-1 after two innings and added two insurance runs in the fifth for a region win over Woods Cross (1-1, 0-1 Region 5).
Andie Elmer batted 3 for 3 with a double for Bonneville (2-4, 1-0). Peyton Johnson hit an RBI double. Marley Chournos had three hits while Ellee Summers went 2 for 3 and drove in two.
BEAR RIVER 11, LOGAN 1
GARLAND — Luci Roche batted 2 for 4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs to pace Bear River (7-0, 1-0 Region 11) in a region-opening win over Logan (3-3, 0-1). Bostyn Lish hit two triples and drove in two. Londyn Gamble added a triple and Bella Douglass hit a double. Kate Wilson got the win with two hits and nine strikeouts over five innings.
FREMONT 15, UINTAH 5
PLAIN CITY — Fremont jumped out to a 13-2 lead after two innings in a run-rule win over Uintah.
Savannah Palmatier batted 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs for Fremont (1-6). Saige Steele went 4 for 4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored. Olivia Broadbent batted 2 for 3 and drove in three. Steele earned the win with four hits and one strikeout over three innings.
BINGHAM 5, DAVIS 1
SOUTH JORDAN — Cambell Christensen hit an RBI single and Chloe Peery hit a double for the only Dart hits as Davis (3-4) fell at Bingham.
SKYLINE 14, OGDEN 13 (8)
SALT LAKE CITY — Ogden took a 13-8 lead in the fifth inning, but gave up the walkoff win in the bottom of the eight in a heartbreaker at Skyline.
Kassidy Waddell hit two doubles and drove in two for Ogden (0-2). Kenzie George drove in three on one single. Aracely DeLeon batted 2 for 3 with a double and drove in two. Jill Wood added a double.
NORTHRIDGE 8, OGDEN 6
LAYTON — Northridge scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a walk-off win over Ogden on Monday.
Jayden Anderson and Aubrey Solomon each hit a double and drove in two for Northridge (1-0). Cassidy Green hit a two-run single while Kaydence Chournos and Kaylee Sherieffs each had two hits. Solomon pitched four innings with four hits and 10 strikeouts.
Jill Wood batted 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs for Ogden (0-1). Madi Arney added a solo shot. Kenzie George hit an RBI single.
MTN RIDGE 17, WEBER 2
HERRIMAN — Weber gave up nine first-inning runs in a loss at Mountain Ridge Monday.
Morgan Dixon hit an RBI double for Weber. Gabby Montgomery and Raegan Blaisdell each had a hit. Montgomery stole three bases.

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Alexander Mwanthi earned the shutout as Bonneville bested Box Elder (0-4, 0-1 Region 5) to open region play.
Luke Wilcoxen netted a brace for Bonneville (1-2, 1-0). Payton Rasley had a goal and an assist while Peyton Hassle added an assist.
LAYTON 6, WEST FIELD 1
TAYLOR — Crew Hawley had two goals and an assist, and Layton scored four goals in the second half for a win at West Field.
Edwin Tamoua netted twice for Layton (3-1). Logan Burton added a goal and two assists. Isaac Kartchner scored once while Crew Buchanan, Rudy Jensen and Davis Madsen each assisted one goal.
Logan Peterson scored on a Sam Kesse assist for West Field (2-2).
OGDEN 1, WEST 0
SALT LAKE CITY — Xavier Peregrina kept a clean sheet and Harrison Hoskins scored on a Gerardo Esquivel assist in the second half to lead Ogden (3-0) to a win at West.

Salt Lake City — Justin Daniels scored a golden goal on a Dylan Bruce assist to lead Fremont to a win at Olympus in extra time Monday.
Daniels scored on a free kick to pull Fremont (5-0) to a 1-1 tie in the 43rd minute. Carson VanBeekum netted on an assist from Lawson Greener.

Miles Erickson tallied 10 kills for Weber (2-5). Bridger Smith added eight kills and four blocks.

Kayson Brimhall and Tyler Dickson each netted two goals for Roy (0-2). Riley Boudreau and Kenai Sudyka scored one goal apiece.

JORDAN 15, WEST FIELD 9
TAYLOR — Freshman Bryndee Sargent and sophomore Danika John each scored three goals for West Field as the Longhorns fell to Jordan on Monday.
Madelyn Parry added two goals for West Field (0-2) and Cheznie Gold netted once.
