ROY — Roy fell behind 21-6 after the first quarter in a home loss to Woods Cross (8-6, 3-2 Region 5).

Colby Frokjer led Roy (3-11, 1-4) with 17 points on three 3-pointers, adding three assists, five rebounds and two steals. Jesse Jones scored 16 points and Ben Stirland added nine points.

NORTH LOGAN — West Field fell behind 26-12 after one quarter and could not recover in a region loss at Green Canyon (16-1, 5-1 Region 11).

Jaxon Slaugh led all scorers with 20 points and four 3-pointers for West Field (8-8, 2-3). Drew Faddis added eight points while Jordan Harrison and Gavin Ortegon each scored five.

BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful (11-2, 5-0 Region 5) dominated the third quarter, turning a 22-22 halftime tie into a 40-27 lead, to take a home game over Clearfield.

Izzy Wyaskett led Clearfield (9-5, 4-1) with nine points. Ashlee King and Brighton Bernards scored six points apiece.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 44, JUAN DIEGO 31

LAYTON — Fabiana Lopez scored 11 points to lead Layton Christian past Juan Diego (5-12, 0-2 Region 14) on Tuesday.

Sarah Ledio and Penelope Arroyo each tallied 10 points for Layton Christian (10-7, 2-0). Arroyo had two 3-pointers. Gracie Maloney-Holland added eight points.
