Macy Vine, finishing with 17 points, and Salote Tonga, adding 16 of her own, led Ogden with double-figure scoring. Lily Gonzalez chipped in nine points and Jill Wood scored seven. Taylor Duke and Lauretta Taukiuvea each scored four points.

BOUNTIFUL — Viewmont (6-6, 2-1 Region 5) outscored Box Elder 33-6 in the third quarter Wednesday to run away with the region contest.

Emma Nelson led Box Elder (1-11, 0-3) with 11 points and seven rebounds. Brooklyn Burt totaled six steals.

BOUNTIFUL — Mayson Jeppsen racked up 14 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and three blocks for Box Elder but the Bees couldn’t finish a rally in a Wednesday loss at Viewmont (6-7, 2-1 Region 5).

Box Elder (0-12, 0-3) also got 14 points from Carter Buchanan. Krew Peterson pitched in 12 points.

BOUNTIFUL 77, NORTHRIDGE 60

LAYTON — Bountiful (9-3, 3-0 Region 5) erased a 22-14 first-quarter deficit to hand Northridge its first region loss Wednesday.

Jay Oliver made four 3-pointers to total 16 points for Northridge (4-8, 2-1). Luke Bailey scored 15 points and Cael Lake added 14.

SOUTH SUMMIT 78, BEN LOMOND 64

KAMAS — Ben Lomond scored 28 fourth-quarter points but it wasn’t enough to erase a 21-point deficit entering the frame in a Wednesday loss at South Summit (10-3, 1-0 Region 13).

Taggart Bush led Ben Lomond (5-9, 0-1) with 13 points and seven rebounds. Korver Van Beekum added 12 points and five rebounds. Deshawn Holland pitched in 10 points, three assists and three steals.

WOODS CROSS 65, CLEARFIELD 56 (OT)

CLEARFIELD — Led by 24 points from Hunter Jackson, Woods Cross (7-5, 2-1 Region 5) outscored Clearfield 12-3 in overtime to pull away for a region win Wednesday.

Clearfield (2-10, 0-3) did not report stats.
