Prep basketball brackets: Morgan boys earn top seed in 3A playoffs

The Trojans (22-1, 10-0 Region 13) plowed through the region schedule for a first-round bye, drawing the winner of No. 16 North Sanpete (3-16) and No. 17 Summit Academy (3-20) in the second round on Feb. 15.
Ending the regular season on a high note, No. 12 Ogden (11-12) also earned a first-round bye and heads to No. 5 Juab on Feb. 15. Ben Lomond comes in as the No. 15 seed hosting No. 18 Providence Hall in the first round on Feb. 15. Brayden Wilson delivered a half-court buzzer-beater to defeat Grantsville 63-62 on the road in Friday’s regular-season finale.
All first and second-round games will be contested at home sites.
The remaining postseason home sites include the Sevier Valley Center at Snow College (2A), the UCCU Center at Utah Valley University (3A), and the America First Event Center at Southern Utah University (4A).

FIRST ROUND (Feb. 12): No 17. Bear River (9-14) at No. 16 West Field (10-13); Winner meets No. 1 Green Canyon (22-1) on Feb. 15.
3A PLAYOFFS
FIRST ROUND (Feb. 12): No. 18 Providence Hall (4-17) at No. 15 Ben Lomond (5-18); Winner meets No. 2 Canyon View (19-4) on Feb. 15.
SECOND ROUND (Feb. 15): No. 1 Morgan (22-1) vs. No 16. North Sanpete (3-16)/No. 17 Summit Academy (3-20); No. 12 Ogden (11-12) at No. 5 Juab (17-6).
