FARMINGTON — Farmington (5-6, 4-4 Region 1) scored the equalizer in the second half and the golden goal in extra time for a region win over Fremont.

Justin Daniels and Dylan Bruce each netted for Fremont (9-5, 3-5). Keeper Jace Clark assisted the Daniels goal.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 6, COTTONWOOD 1

MURRAY — Mickael Duailibi scored a brace to lead Layton Christian to a region win at Cottonwood (2-13, 2-10 Region 10).

Theo Luis, Lucca Sabino, Francisco Fraga and Bruno Bello each netted one goal for Layton Christian (12-2, 10-1).

PAROWAN 3, UTAH MILITARY 2 (OT)

OGDEN — No. 16 Utah Military Academy-Hillfield fell to No. 19 Parowan in extra time in the first round of the 2A state playoffs.

Ian Patino had a goal and an assist for UMA. Oscar Kebker netted once and Christopher Trejo tallied an assist. The Thunderbirds end the season with a 6-9 record.

ROY — Roy scored in the bottom of the first inning to forge a 1-1 tie before Bonneville scored 16 unanswered runs in a five-inning region win.

Samantha Mills batted 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs for Bonneville (7-13, 5-6 Region 5). Ellee Summers batted 2 for 4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs. Kaylee McAfee went 4 for 4 with a double and drove in five.

Whitney Richards and Madilynn DeGroot each had two hits and combined for three RBIs. Peyton Johnson pitched a complete game with two hits and one strikeout.

Quincy Johnson hit a single and scored a run on Izzy Cline’s sacrifice for Roy (0-16, 0-11). Megan Johnson hit a double.

WEST FIELD 12, RIDGELINE 1

TAYLOR — Clair Nessen batted 2 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs, and Ayzlee Sessions went 3 for 5 with a home run and drove in three as West Field won at Ridgeline (13-12, 7-5 Region 11).

Ella Doxey batted 2 for 4 and drove in two for West Field (14-4, 9-3). Kam Bell hit an RBI double. Brylee Leatherwood had two hits. Freshman Brinklee Hadley hit an RBI single and pitched a complete game with five hits and nine strikeouts.

BEAR RIVER 12, GREEN CANYON 2

NORTH LOGAN — Bear River scored seven runs in the fifth to take control in a region win at Green Canyon (7-16, 1-11 Region 11).

Marley Tisdol hit a three-run home run for Bear River (22-2, 12-0). Aubree Fry batted 4 for 4 with a triple and scored three runs. Bella Douglas went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Luci Roche batted 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Kate Wilson got the win with four hits and seven strikeouts over five innings.

GRANTSVILLE 15, OGDEN 2

GRANTSVILLE — Grantsville (18-6, 10-0 Region 13) held Ogden to five hits in a five-inning shutout.

Sophia Edwards, Mia Sugimoto, Jill Wood, Kenzie George and Baelee Ulm each hit a single for Ogden (5-14, 2-6).

MORGAN — Morgan led 6-1 after four innings but gave up 10 unanswered runs in a region home loss to South Summit (14-11, 4-5 Region 13).

Kaiya Peterson hit a two-run home run for Morgan (13-6, 6-3). Lexi Hardman batted 3 for 4 and drove in one. Joesi Kelly hit a double. Kiernee Carter hit an RBI single.

LAYTON 20, SUMMIT ACADEMY 0

LAYTON — Layton scored 15 runs in the second inning of a three-inning blasting of non-region foe Summit Academy.

Serenity Overton hit a two-run triple for Layton (3-14). Lexie Himle added an RBI triple. Nora Morrow hit two doubles and drove in two. Ryleigh Newey batted 2 for 3 with a double and drove in five. Macie Clark and Megan Child each batted 2 for 2 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Morrow got the win with one hit, one walk and seven strikeouts.

WEST JORDAN 7, FREMONT 5

WEST JORDAN — Fremont gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to suffer a walk-off loss to non-region foe West Jordan.

Cara Henrie batted 3 for 4 and drove in two for Fremont (8-12). Adee Johnsen hit an RBI triple. Saige Steele, Olivia Broadbent and Brooklyn Himelright each hit a single.

PLAIN CITY — Fremont scored four runs in each of the second and fourth innings for a region win over Weber.

Brant Koford batted 3 for 3 and drove in two for Fremont (14-5, 7-2 Region 1). Cole Sanders went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Chase Jones hit a double and drove in three. Tad Grange went 2 for 2. Owen Simkins hit an RBI single. Jace Hadley got the win with one earned run, eight hits and eight strikeouts in six innings.

Caden Lindholm and Jace Redd each had two singles and drove in one for Weber (2-15, 1-8). Eastyn Barker batted 2 for 2. Jarett Hill and Easton Pratt each hit an RBI single.

FARMINGTON 6, SYRACUSE 3

FARMINGTON — Syracuse scored two runs in the fourth inning to take a 3-2 lead but Farmington (5-14, 3-6 Region 1) scored four unanswered runs for a region win.

Kysen Gallegos hit a two-run home run for Syracuse (5-11, 3-6). Bronx Manning hit two singles and Colsten Thomas added a double. Dom Johnatakis and Easton Hamblin each had a hit.

CLEARFIELD 15, ROY 3

ROY — Clearfield scored seven runs in the third inning to take a 13-0 lead in a five-inning region win at Roy.

Logan Fenn hit a home run, a double and drove in four for Clearfield (10-10, 6-3 Region 5). Taven Swartz batted 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs. Colt Chambers went 3 for 3 and drove in one. Ryan Frei batted 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. Brody Unck gave up four hits and had five strikeouts in the win.

Logan Vorwaller hit an RBI double for Roy (9-10, 2-7). Kaygen Tingey drove in one. Tristan Young, Cache Summers and Jace Barela each singled.

NORTHRIDGE 7, BOX ELDER 6

LAYTON — Northridge scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a walk-off win over Box Elder.

After a Kam Shirreffs sacrifice fly made it 6-5 but put Northridge down to its last out, Box Elder intentionally walked Jon Olsen to load the bases. But Isaac Anderson pushed the tying run across by wearing a hit-by-pitch, then Ryan Small singled to right field to win it.

Parker Jeppson hit a solo home run for Northridge (13-7, 5-4 Region 5). Mick Whitaker batted 2 for 3. Small went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Olsen hit a double and earned the win with one strikeout in 2/3 of an inning of relief. Shirreffs allowed three earned runs in 6 1/3 innings.

Greyson Burt batted 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs for Box Elder (4-14, 1-8). Korbin Jeppesen and Easton Green each hit a double. Maddox Earnst drove in two with a single and Kellen Kohler hit an RBI single.

WEST FIELD 10, LOGAN 1

LOGAN — West Field scored six runs in the fourth inning for a 7-0 lead in a region win at Logan (5-16, 2-10 Region 11).

Grady Garrett and Logan Penland each had two hits and drove in one for West Field (13-9, 9-3). Kanyon Pratt hit a double. Boston Kap and Conner Miles each hit an RBI single. Kap pitched a complete game with four hits, three walks and three strikeouts.

BEAR RIVER 13, GREEN CANYON 3

NORTH LOGAN — Dallin Rice and Holden Potter each batted 3 for 5 and combined for six RBIs as Bear River won at Green Canyon (4-19, 2-10 Region 11).

Potter had four RBIs and Rice two. Kolten Summers and Ethan Higgs each hit two singles for Bear River (16-7, 8-4). Higgs drove in two and Summers one. Nick Oliverson drove in two on a single and Jackson Barfuss hit an RBI single.

BOUNTIFUL 17, BONNEVILLE 10

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Bonneville led 10-5 after five innings but gave up six runs in each of the sixth and seventh innings in a loss to Bountiful (10-10, 7-2 Region 5).

Hudson Taylor batted 3 for 5 with a double and an RBI for Bonneville (8-12, 2-7). Paden Toula went 2 for 4 with a double and drove in one. Jaygen Noble went 2 for 4 and drove in two. Wade Larsen hit a two-run single. Jet Hirschi had two hits and Cooper Rowley hit a single.

MORGAN 6, UINTAH 4

VERNAL — Morgan trailed 4-1 after two innings, then chipped away and scored the winning runs in the top of the sixth inning to win at Uintah.

Tyson Talbot batted 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs for Morgan (17-6). Luke Bauerle went 2 for 3 and drove in one. Beck Sheffield hit a double. Lincoln Gilson hit an RBI single. Camron Talbot hit a two-run single and earned the win in a complete game with three earned runs, seven hits and two strikeouts.

ROY — Tyler Dickson and Kaysom Brimhall each scored three times in a Roy region win over Bonneville.

Dickson added four assists for Roy (3-11, 1-3 Region 5). Robert Young scored two goals. Hank Mullen recorded five saves.
