Ethan Clark hit a solo home run for Layton (4-8, 3-0 Region 1). Will Hoffman batted 3 for 6 with a triple and three RBIs. Austin Pritchett went 3 for 5 and drove in two. Nik Bielaczyc had two hits and Ethan Clark hit an RBI single.

Eastyn Barker batted 3 for 6 with a triple and an RBI for Weber (1-10, 0-3). Kayson Badger went 2 for 6 with a triple. Ridge Torman hit an RBI single.

PLAIN CITY — Kasen Pearson and Cole Sanders each batted 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs to lead Fremont past Farmington (2-11, 0-3 Region 1).

Brant Koford batted 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI for Fremont (10-3, 3-0). Adam Mikesell hit an RBI single. Jace Hadley got the win with two earned runs, three hits and five strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.

CLEARFIELD 9, BONNEVILLE 1

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Clearfield scored six runs in the sixth inning to pull away for a win at Bonneville.

Hudson Meyer batted 3 for 4 with a triple and four RBIs for Clearfield (6-8, 2-1 Region 5). Taven Swartz, Brody Mower and Brady Reynolds each had two hits and one RBI. Reynolds pitched a complete game with nine hits, no earned runs and 11 strikeouts.

Hudson Taylor and Adam Field each batted 2 for 3 for Bonneville (7-7, 1-2). Jaygen Noble hit a double.

WEST FIELD 12, BEAR RIVER 1

GARLAND — Kanyon Pratt hit two doubles and drove in four to lead West Field to a region win at Bear River.

Brady Penland batted 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs for West Field (8-7, 4-2 Region 11). Tyce Abbott batted 3 for 4 with a double. Grady Garrett went 2 for 4 with a double and drove in two. Conner Miles hit a two-run single. Caymen Kap got the win in 4 1/3 innings with three hits and one strikeout.

Kolten Summers hit an RBI triple for Bear River (8-7, 4-4). Holden Potter and Broxton Gardner each hit a single.

NORTHRIDGE 6, VIEWMONT 3

LAYTON — Northridge trailed 3-0 after the top of the third inning, then scored six unanswered runs for a region win over Viewmont (7-7, 2-1 Region 5).

Kam Shirreffs hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the third to get Northridge (10-4, 2-1) to a 3-3 tie. Mick Whitaker batted 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Trevin Redd added an RBI single. Jon Olsen went 2 for 3 with a triple and got the win with one earned run, four hits and six strikeouts over five innings.

WOODS CROSS 14, ROY 2

ROY — Roy scored both its runs in the fourth inning in a five-inning loss to Woods Cross

Tristan Young hit an RBI single for Roy (7-6, 0-3 Region 5). Logan Vorwaller hit a double and scored a run.

Woods Cross (6-7, 2-1) scored seven ruins in the third inning and six in the fifth.

BOUNTIFUL — Box Elder took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, then gave up five straight runs in a loss at Bountiful (6-8, 3-0 Region 5).

Bosten Steacie batted 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs for Box Elder (3-9, 0-3). Easton Green went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.

BRIGHAM CITY — Kennadie Blackmer pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk, and batted 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI, as Box Elder shut out Clearfield.

Kailee Hall and Jenna Marble each had two hits and combined for three RBIs for Box Elder (15-2, 7-1 Region 5). Brooke Richards hit a double and Quincey Lish added an RBI single.

Brynn Nicholls hit a single for Clearfield (9-5, 6-2). Lyla Leonhardt reached base with a walk.

SMITHFIELD — Bear River scored six runs in the first inning, then added four in the fifth to trigger the run rule in a win at Sky View (5-11, 1-5 Region 11).

Luci Roche batted 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs for Bear River (18-1, 9-0). Paycie Richards went 3 for 4 with a triple and drove in three. Bella Dougals and Aubree Fry each batted 3 for 4 and drove in two. Kate Wilson earned the win with one hit, one walk and one strikeout in one inning.

LAYTON — Bountiful (13-1, 8-0 Region 5) held Northridge to five hits and the Knights scored their lone run in the seventh inning in a home loss.

Madisyn Lecour batted 2 for 4 for Northridge (5-8, 2-5). Braylynn McClellan hit a single and scored a run. Berklee Larsen and Makaybree Nay each had one hit.

MORGAN — Morgan scored a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to forge a 2-2 tie, then one more in the seventh for a walk-off win over Union (11-6, 3-2 Region 13).

Lexi Hardman batted 3 for 4 and scored twice for Morgan (10-4, 4-1). Joesi Kelly, Kaiya Peterson and Callie Averett each hit an RBI single. Freshman Addy Cragun pitched a complete game with one earned run, four hits and two strikeouts.

SOUTH SUMMIT 18, OGDEN 7

OGDEN — Mia Sugimoto batted 2 for 2 with a home run and four RBIs but Ogden fell at home to South Summit (11-9, 2-3 Region 13).

Kenzie George batted 2 for 4 and drove in two for Ogden (4-10, 1-3). Aracely DeLeon added two hits and Jill Wood added an RBI single. The Tigers scored all seven runs in the second inning to take a short-lived 7-6 lead.

FARMINGTON 14, BONNEVILLE 4

FARMINGTON — Bonneville led 3-0 after the top of the third inning, then Farmington took the lead for good with seven runs in the bottom of the third.

Morgan Rogers hit a three-run homer for Farmington (8-4). Hadley Crowley batted 3 for 3 with a double. Meghan Fields went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs, and got the win with three earned runs, three hits and three strikeouts.

Whitney Richards and Peyton Johnson each hit an RBI single for Bonneville (4-11). Marley Chournos had one hit while Andie Elmer and Samantha Mills each drove in one.

KAYSVILLE — Cambell Christensen hit a two-run home run and pitched a complete game with three hits and seven strikeouts in a four-inning win over Roy.
