Prep roundup: Ogden boys soccer defeats Davis; Bonneville softball sweeps 3 Friday games

OGDEN — Gerardo Esquivel, Jace Rodriguez and Lincoln Barnes each scored once as 3A Ogden High boys soccer beat 6A Davis 3-1 on Friday.
Taylor Pierce had two assists for Ogden (3-1) and Luis Velasco had one.
Davis (2-1) did not report stats.
SYRACUSE 2, MORGAN 1
MORGAN — Syracuse scored twice in the second half in a win at Morgan.
Wyatt Affleck netted the equalizer on a Giovanni Fuentes assist in the 48th minute for Syracuse (3-0). Easton Cragun converted a penalty kick for the game-winner in the 67th minute.
Jett Backstrom scored in the 44th minute on a Cody Adams assist to give Morgan (2-1) a brief lead.
NORTHRIDGE def. CLEARFIELD (PK)
CLEARFIELD — Northridge outshot Clearfield 4-3 on penalty kicks after ending extra time tied 4-4.

ST. GEORGE — Bonneville scored twice in the bottom of the ninth inning for a walk-off win Friday over South Summit at the March Warm-Up Classic.
Ellee Summers batted 5 for 5 with a solo home run for Bonneville (6-0). Morgan Rich went 4 for 4 with three doubles and three RBIs. Baylee Andreasen and Shelbee Johnson each had three hits. Chandlyr Noble hit two doubles and pitched a complete game with six strikeouts and 17 hits.
BONNEVILLE 10, EMERY 3
ST. GEORGE — Mylee Pedersen hit 2 for 3 with a home run and five RBIs as Bonneville beat Emery at the March Warm-Up Classic.
Baylee Andreasen batted 4 for 4 with one RBI for Bonneville. Annie Stevenson went 3 for 4 and Kaylee McAfee drove in two. Chandlyr Noble earned the win with two strikeouts and one hit over two innings.

ST. GEORGE — Shelbee Johnson batted 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs as Bonneville bested Shelly (Idaho) in five innings at the March Warm-Up Classic.
Annie Stevenson went 3 for 3 and drove in two for Bonneville and Mylee Pedersen hit a two-run double. Chandlyr Noble gave up four hits and struck out five in the win.

WASHINGTON — Weber scored six runs across the fifth and sixth innings for a comeback win in a tournament game at Crimson Cliffs.
Ellie Nielsen batted 2 for 3 with a triple and one run scored for Werber (2-2). Moira Tinsley went 2 for 3 and drove in two. Olivia Boswell hit an RBI double. Kendall Strasburg pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts and five hits.

Landen Golmon hit an RBI triple for Box Elder (3-5). Damon Rodriguez and Ryan Griffin each hit a single and scored a run.

ST. GEORGE — Tavin Swartz struck out 12 batters, Logan Fenn batted 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs, and Clearfield beat Mountain Crest at the Dixie Invitational.
Peyton Kotter went 3 for 3 with a triple and drove in one for Clearfield (3-2). Swartz pitched a complete game, allowing five hits over seven innings.

SALT LAKE CITY — Gehrig Marble batted 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs as Bear River won at Cottonwood.
Degan Rigby added a solo homer for Bear River (4-3). Talon Marble batted 3 for 4 and scored two runs. Holden Potter hit a double and pitched six innings with seven strikeouts and five hits for the win.

PLAIN CITY — Logan Penland and Anthony Marziale each drove in two as Fremont beat Lone Peak in five innings.
Karston Jamison, Hayden Hudman and Jace Hadley each batted 2 for 3 for Fremont (2-0). Marziale earned the win with three strikeouts and six hits over 3 1/3 innings.

MORGAN — Brigham Spens hit an RBI triple as Morgan beat Summit Academy.
