ROBERT YOUNG, POY

Roy

Senior • ATH

Young generated 2,340 all-purpose yards for 35 touchdowns, including nine touchdowns on special teams, during his final season at Roy. On defense, Young tallied 54 tackles, two tackles-for-loss and an interception. Coaches named Young the unanimous Region 5 MVP.


BODE SPARROW, POY

Davis

Junior • WR/DB

Sparrow led the state with nine interceptions and Class 6A with 994 receiving yards. His 16 receiving touchdowns was second-most in the state. The third-year Dart tallied 59 total tackles on defense.


TRADON BESSINGER

Davis

Junior • QB

Bessinger threw for a state-leading 3,674 yards and 42 touchdowns, adding 96 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.


TYDON JONES

Bear River

Senior • MLB

Jones racked up 102 tackles, 10 sacks, 23 tackles-for-loss, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown during his final season in Garland. Jones is signed to play at the University of New Mexico.


ISAAC MANSARAY

Bonneville

Senior • WR/FS

A three-year starter, Mansaray recorded 70 catches for 953 yards and 13 total touchdowns through eight games before a season-ending injury.


BRANT KOFORD

Fremont

Senior • MLB

Koford piled up 116 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, three hurries, two interceptions, two deflections, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Coaches named Koford the Region 1 defensive co-MVP.


SALESI MOA

Fremont

Junior • WR/S

Moa produced 1,321 all-purpose yards, including 900 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns; Moa returned 12 punts for 171 yards and five kickoffs for 164 yards. Defensively, Moa tallied 40 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, two interceptions and a forced fumble.


MANASE TUATAGALOA

Fremont

Junior • QB/DE

Tuatagaloa completed 186 passes for 2,502 yards and 27 touchdowns during his first season as a Silverwolf. He finished the season with 2,702 all-purpose yards and broke Fremont’s single-game passing record (424 yards). Defensively, he totaled nine tackles, three tackles-for-loss and one sack.


TRE NYE

Northridge

Senior • QB

Nye completed 68% of his passes for 2,999 yards and 23 touchdowns during his senior strut with the Knights. Nye added another 206 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.


BRAYDEN BOTT

Layton Christian

Senior • WR/DB

Bott racked up 1,487 all-purpose yards for 13 touchdowns. Bott tallied 36 tackles and three interceptions on defense.


DAETYN DEAN

Layton Christian

Senior • LT

Dean led two 1,000-plus-yard rushing seasons at left tackle.


LINCOLN GILSON

Morgan

Senior • ATH

Gilson produced over 2,500 all-purpose yards for 13 receiving touchdowns and another 11 touchdowns on the ground. The Trojans’ team captain added two more touchdowns on special teams.


BECK SHEFFIELD

Morgan

Senior • QB

Sheffield ushered 2,315 yards and 26 touchdowns at quarterback, adding another 318 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.


TATE STEELE

Morgan

Senior • DE

Steele racked up 60 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, 11 tackles-for-loss, three forced fumbles, two defensive touchdowns and one interception during his final season in a Trojan uniform.


LOGAN CELLA

Roy

Senior • RB/LB

Cella led the Roy backfield with 1,432 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging 7.1 yards per carry. Roy’s team captain racked up 120 total tackles at linebacker.


CADE DRAPER

Roy

Senior • C/DT

Draper averaged 8.0 pancake blocks per game and blocked for an offense that totaled more than 5,700 yards. Coaches named Draper the Region 5 offensive line MVP.


COLBY FROKJER

Roy

Senior • P/K

Frokjer averaged 40.2 yards per punt and 60 yards per kickoff (long 80) with 53 total extra points during his senior season. Frokjer hit 58- and 53-yard field goals during the 5A state semifinal against Timpview. Frokjer is signed with Montana State.


JAXTON SCOFFIELD

Roy

Senior • OLB

Scoffield piled up 111 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss and nine deflections. Scoffield currently holds offers from New Mexico, Utah Tech, Southern Utah, and Snow College.


ISAIAH MORRIS

Roy

Junior • WR/DB

Morris led Roy’s receivers room with 56 receptions for 969 yards and 14 touchdowns. Morris recorded 46 tackles, two interceptions (one returned for a 100-yard touchdown), six deflections and a sack.


DRU GARDNER

Roy

Senior • QB

Gardner finished his prep career completing 186 passes for 2,663 yards, 29 touchdowns and four interceptions. Gardner, named All-Region 5 First Team, added another 160 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.


TYLER PAYNE

Weber

Senior • LB/TE

Payne led 6A with 174 total tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, four sacks, one forced fumble and one interception. Payne added 11 receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns on offense.


DYSON PARKER

Weber

Junior • RB/LB

Parker took 255 carries for 1,597 yards and 19 touchdowns, adding another 618 yards and five touchdowns through the air. Defensively, Parker tallied 35 tackles and three interceptions.


CADEN LINDHOLM

Weber

Senior • LB/RB

Lindholm finished second in 6A with 123 total tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, three sacks and one interception. Lindholm added 29 carries for 122 yards and two touchdowns on offense.


GUNNER WINDSOR

St. Joseph

Senior • QB

Windsor produced 1,622 all-purpose yards, throwing for 1,217 yards and 19 touchdowns. Windsor added 404 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.  The senior Jayhawk also hauled back two defensive interception returns for touchdowns.
