Peyton Surrage batted 4 for 4 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored for Fremont (17-3, 13-1 Region 1). Brigg Grange went 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs. Landon Salvesen had three hits, including a double, and drove in four. Calvin Morrow pitched four innings with three strikeouts in the win.

Hudson Meyer batted 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs for Clearfield (2-19, 0-14). Jaret Lloyd hit an RBI single and Peyton Kotter hit a sacrifice fly.

ROY — Samuel Smith hit a walk-off base hit to complete Roy’s comeback win.

Smith batted 2 for 4 and Taysen Headley hit 3 for 4 with two RBIs for Roy (10-10, 9-5 Region 2). Cade Gaskill drove in two runs. Justin Miller pitched four innings with five strikeouts and three earned runs allowed.

LAYTON 5, DAVIS 3

LAYTON — Davis out-hit Layton 9-3 but the Lancers capitalized on their chances and the Darts left 10 runners on base.

Eli Anderson and Preston Brimhall each hit RBI doubles for Layton (13-8, 12-5 Region 1). Sam Godfrey added an RBI single. Ryder Gates earned the win with two hits, five walks and three strikeouts in four innings.

Owen Talbot batted 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI for Davis (8-12, 8-6). Tyson Elkins added an RBI double.

SYRACUSE 15, WEBER 3

PLEASANT VIEW — Syracuse took an 8-0 lead before Weber batted in a region win.

Broc Hopkins hit a home run, a double and drove in three for Syracuse (10-10, 8-6 Region 2). Jake Hopkins and Easton Hamblin each batted 2 for 4 with a double and combined for five RBIs. Jaden Keblis earned the win with six strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.

Ashton Burnett and Dax Rhees each hit a solo home run for Weber (4-15, 3-11). Tyce Abbott batted 2 for 4.

BOX ELDER 7, NORTHRIDGE 1

BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder plated five runners in the third inning to take control in a win over Northridge

KJ Argyle hit two doubles and pitched a complete game with six hits and four strikeouts for Box Elder (10-6-1, 7-4 Region 5). Tallin Chappell hit a two run home run and Mathew Peterson hit a solo shot. Landen Golman batted 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs.

Jon Olson batted 2 for 3 with a solo home run for Northridge (4-13, 3-8).

BEAR RIVER 13, SKY VIEW 1

SMITHFIELD — Bear River scored 10 runs in the fifth inning to trigger the run rule in a win at Sky View.

Easton Goodliffe pitched a complete game with four strikeouts and batted 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs for Bear River (12-9, 8-7 Region 11). Talon Marble and Holden Potter each doubled, with Marble driving in two and Potter one.

OGDEN 8, PROVIDENCE HALL 0

OGDEN — Gerardo Esquievel scored two goals and assisted another as No. 1 Ogden mercy-ruled its way to a 3A tournament second-round win.

Brigham Aardema, Luis Velasco, Taylor Pierce, Jace Rodriguez, Parley Gladwell and Eli Robinson all scored for Ogden (12-1). Ty Robinson assisted two goals and Eli Robinson assisted one. Boston Rodriguez assisted one goal and Hunter Paskins kept the shutout in goal.

The Tigers are scheduled to host No. 8 Judge Memorial at 1 p.m. Saturday in the 3A quarterfinals.

MORGAN 9, RICHFIELD 0

MORGAN — Garret Henderson kept a clean sheet and No. 4 Morgan scored six goals in the first half in a 3A 2nd round win over No. 13 Richfield (7-9).

Jett Beckstrom had three goals and two assists for Morgan (9-6). Ty Warner tallied a goal and four assists. Cody Adams scored a brace. Cam Burt notched a goal and an assist. Owen Tolman and Cooper Castro netted one goal apiece.

Morgan will host No. 5 Carbon at 1 p.m. Saturday.

SYRACUSE 3, LAYTON 2

LAYTON — Syracuse scored all three goals in the second half to grab a region win at Layton.

Easton Cragun netted a brace for Syracuse (7-6, 5-5 Region 1). Jack Cook tallied a goal and two assists.

Carson Burton opened the scoring on an assist from Brock Moon in the fifth minute for Layton (4-9, 3-8). Burton scored again on a penalty kick in the 79th minute.

FARMINGTON 2, WEBER 1

PLEASANT VIEW — Farmington scored the game’s final two goals for a region win at Weber

Jaden Petersen and Boston Petersen each scored a goal for Farmington (10-3, 9-3 Region 1). Chase Ashby and Jackson Cheney had one assist apiece.

Danny Jenkins gave Weber (5-6, 5-5) an early lead on a Connor Gardenhour assist
