SECOND TEAM OFFENSE

EASTON WIGHT

Farmington

Quarterback • Junior

Wight threw for 3,146 yards with 36 touchdowns against 11 interceptions, a 62.3% completion rate and a 109.6 quarterback rating.

JACKSON STEVENS

Davis

Quarterback • Junior

Stevens completed 65.7% of his passes for 3,253 yards, 24 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 94.9 quarterback rating.

CHET COLVIN

Ogden

Running back/Punter • Senior

In nine games, Colvin rushed for 857 yards and six touchdowns with an average of 7.0 yards per carry. He also caught three passing touchdowns.

GUNNAR LISH

Morgan

Running back/Safety • Senior

Lish rushed for 845 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense, and had 26 tackles with two interceptions on defense.

EASTON BAGGETT

Davis

Receiver • Senior

Baggett caught 93 passes for 1,056 yards and seven touchdowns.

SALESI MOA

Weber

Receiver • Freshman

Moa caught 56 passes for 934 yards (16.7 yards per catch) and seven scores.

ROBERT YOUNG

Roy

Kick return/Receiver/Defensive back • Sophomore

Young averaged 20.4 yards per reception with five touchdowns and 6.2 yards per rush with five touchdowns, totaled 161 return yards and made 20 tackles with one pick-six on defense.

BRANDON WITT

Box Elder

Offensive line • Senior

Witt led an offensive line that paved the way for a 3,097-yard rushing attack with 28 rushing TDs.

TYLER BUCKWAY

Morgan

Offensive line • Senior

Buckway’s play up front helped Morgan’s balanced offense produce 72 touchdowns.

KASON HANCOCK

Layton

Offensive line • Senior

Hancock led Layton’s offensive line and helped the offense score 27 touchdowns.

CADE DRAPER

Roy

Offensive line • Sophomore

Draper anchored the offensive line and helped Roy’s offense average 5.5 yards per rush and score 40 total touchdowns.

AIDEN KOSKI

Layton Christian

Offensive line • Senior

Koski helped LCA’s running game run for 235.8 yards per game, 7.5 yards per carry and 33 total touchdowns.

SECOND TEAM DEFENSE

CASE WAYMAN

Bonneville

Defensive tackle • Junior

In 10 games, Wayman had 68 total tackles with 12 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, and started on the offensive line.

TALLIN CHAPPELL

Box Elder

Defensive tackle/Tight end • Senior

Chappell had 53 tackles with 10 tackles for loss, five sacks and one forced fumble in 10 games. He caught two touchdowns on offense and helped block for the Bees’ 3,097-yard running game.

SHAUN MOORE

Morgan

Defensive end • Senior

Moore made 54 tackles with six tackles for loss, five sacks, 12 batted balls at the line of scrimmage for a defense that allowed 6.9 points per game.

ZORAM PETELO

Layton Christian

Defensive end • Senior

Petelo made 28 tackles with five sacks and two tackles, helping hold down a defensive line that allowed 1.52 yards per carry against 1A teams this year.

KENA KAILIPONI

Bonneville

Linebacker • Senior

In 10 games, Kailiponi made 123 total tackles with seven tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, five passes defended and was named Region 5 Defensive MVP.

MILES DRAPER

Syracuse

Linebacker • Senior

Draper made 82 tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, one fumble recovery and helped the Titans win an unbeaten Region 1 title.

BRIGHAM MORRISON

Bountiful

Linebacker • Junior

In 10 games, Morrison had a team-high 90 tackles with eight tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery on defense. He scored three touchdowns on offense and helped Bountiful to an unbeaten Region 5 title.

ADAM WILSON

Ogden

Defensive back/Receiver/Kicker • Senior

Wilson intercepted seven passes and made 23 tackles on defense, had 504 receiving yards with three scores on offense and made four field goals and 16 extra points at placekicker.

RIDGE WHITNEY

Fremont

Defensive back/Receiver • Senior

Whitney made 57 tackles with three interceptions, seven passes defended and three tackles for loss on defense. He returned 14 kickoffs for 488 yards and one touchdown, and led the team with 496 receiving yards and one TD.

DAXTON FADDIS

Syracuse

Safety • Senior

Faddis made 69 tackles with 10.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and one fumble return for a touchdown.

DAYTON RUNYAN

Farmington

Safety/Receiver • Junior

Runyan intercepted nine passes with two pick-sixes, had six pass defenses, one forced fumble and 55 tackles on defense. He had four receiving TDs and 276 return yards on special teams.

RHETT THOMPSON

Syracuse

Kicker • Senior

Thompson was a perfect 50 for 50 on extra points, kicked 13 of 16 on field goals with a long of 45 yards and had 18 touchbacks from kickoffs.
