The tournament plays out on a neutral site with seeds No. 1 and No. 2 earning a preferred first-round bye while playing a lower seed, then getting a day off, while seeds No. 3-6 also get a bye.
Northern Colorado and Montana shared the league’s regular-season championship; due to tiebreakers, Northern Colorado claimed the tournament’s No. 1 seed.

The Big Sky men’s basketball tournament will stream on ESPN+ from start to finish; one semifinal will also air on ESPNU and the other on ESPN2, and the championship game will air on ESPN2.
