Amber Alert issued by Riverdale Police Department for 2 children

Ricardo Rojel Trujillo was listed as the suspect in an Amber Alert by the Riverdale Police Department on Monday, March 24, 2025.RIVERDALE — The Riverdale Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for two children.
The alert, which was issued shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, lists Angie Trujillo (2 years old) and Ricardo Trujillo (3 years old) as being in “imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.” The suspect in the alleged abduction was listed as Ricardo Rojel Trujillo, 29. He was last seen driving a white Ford F-150 “work style-truck” with Utah license plate 8BSC6 around 2:45 p.m.
The alert.utah.gov website describes Ricardo Rojel Trujillo as being a “possible homicide and arson suspect.”
Citing information obtained by police, Fox 13 reported that officers responded to reports of a house fire around 5100 S. 1050 West and reportedly found an unnamed woman dead inside.
After the fire was extinguished, police were unable to locate the woman’s children which led to the AMBER Alert being issued.
Ricardo Rojel Trujillo is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 180 pounds with black hair and black eyes. Angie Trujillo is described as 2 feet, 2 inches and weighing 35 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Ricardo Trujillo is described as 2 feet, 5 inches and 45 pounds with black hair and black eyes.
