A structure fire occurred at Jerry's Nursery in Farr West on Sunday morning, March 9, 2025.
FARR WEST — Jerry’s Nursery, a garden center operating in northern Weber County for more than four decades, suffered a structure fire early Sunday.
According to a Weber Fire District release on social media, crews were dispatched to a structure fire at the business — located at 1410 N. 1800 West in Farr West — at approximately 1:15 a.m. Sunday. Weber Fire was joined by units from Roy City Fire, Ogden City Fire and Hill Air Force Base Fire. Fire crews reportedly arrived “to visible flames.”
“Crews quickly declared a working incident, initiated fire suppression efforts, and conducted a search. Thankfully, there were no occupants, and no injuries were reported,” the release read.
The scene has since been turned over to the Weber Fire District’s Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation.
“We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the agencies that assisted in the efforts, ensuring a swift and coordinated response,” the release stated. In addition to the aforementioned agencies, the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, Weber Area Dispatch and Weber County at large were tagged in the social media post.
