Ogden Fire Truck 04OGDEN — Two people were displaced after a house fire in the 400 block of 30th Street on Thursday.
The fire broke out just before 9:30 a.m. and smoke was billowing from the single-family structure when crews arrived, according to Ogden Fire Department Deputy Chief Mike Slater. Ogden and Riverdale crews quickly controlled and extinguished the fire, which caused an estimated $150,000 in damage, he said.
The displaced residents were getting help from the Red Cross, Slater said, adding that no one was injured in the fire.
Slater said the cause of the fire was not known. The city fire marshal is investigating.
