Utah lawmakers endorse bill to criminalize disclosing individual voter info amid clerk controversy

A panel of Utah lawmakers have given an initial nod to a draft bill that would criminalize accessing and disclosing certain information about how or when individual voters return their ballots. The Government Operations Interim Committee voted unanimously on Wednesday to endorse the first iteration of the legislation, sponsored by Rep. Stephanie Gricius, R-Eagle Mountain.
