It is a shame as well as sinful that those same republicans who were in fear of their lives on January 6 of those insurgents who stormed the capitol and threatened them with harm and were depended on those capitol police to protect them that were beaten and injured are today too spineless to speak up and say that the president is wrong in pardoning and releasing those defendants. As the late Dr. M. L. King once said, “The true measure of a man is not where he stands in times of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in time of challenge and controversy.” And so far, each and every congressional republican who doesn’t stand up for what is right does not measure up to his or her responsibility to call what it is, wrong.
