We must have the worst legislature ever! They want to be able to repeal or amend any ballot initiative presented by the voters on November’s ballot! The legislature seems to be a bunch of old men who want total control over what we think! This sounds like how Putin controls the people of Russia! An article in the paper a few weeks ago said something like we should be taught how to think, not what we think!

I agree with MSgt, Nelson’s letter about Utah Gov. Cox and his rude display at Arlington National Cemetery! Gov. Cox pretends to be for bringing the country together then shows up and desecrated this hallowed ground with a political stunt with a disgraced ex president! He is no longer “my” Governor but Utah’s Governor. Shame on Cox!

I think violence of any kind is wrong when protesting against something! Everybody has the right to assemble and express their ideas! Nobody has the right to destroy property or harm another person! Gun violence has gotten out of hand as a way to protest! Shooting someone in the cartilage of their ear and making them bleed a few drops is not a way to protest something! Violence is not an acceptable way to protest!

Let’s all help make America “a more perfect union.”
