Dear Weber County Residents,

This may be unique, but we are writing this letter as members of different political parties, but united by a shared belief in the future of our community and the candidate who embodies the values we all share–Steve Van Wagoner. As Republicans and Democrats, we have our differences, but we agree on one thing: Steve Van Wagoner is the right choice for Weber County Commissioner.

In a politically divisive year, we deserve local leaders who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get to work for us, regardless of party affiliation. Steve’s roots in this community run deep. Raised as a farm boy, he learned the value of hard work and dedication early on. Whether it was working the fields or tending to the animals, Steve developed a strong work ethic that has stayed with him throughout his life. He knows what it means to roll up his sleeves and get the job done, no matter how tough the challenge. This is the perseverance and commitment we need in our county leadership.

Steve’s vision for Weber County is one where every resident, young and old, can thrive. He believes in supporting an environment where dreams are realized, and opportunities abound for the next generation. Steve understands that it’s not just about today–it’s about building a brighter, stronger future for our children and grandchildren.

But Steve’s commitment doesn’t stop with the younger generation. He is also deeply concerned about our seniors. Seniors deserve financial security and a safe and accessible home. He supports the idea of freezing property taxes for residents over the age of 70, so our elders can enjoy their retirement without the burden of rising costs. Just one of the many reasons we are supporting Steve this year.
