Hello Neighbor,

We’re writing you a quick note to invite you to vote in this year’s election. We love Ogden and think it’s stronger when we all have a voice. We’re certain that if we all vote for candidates who share our values, our community will continue to be the great place that it is.

As Ogden “DIE-HARDS”, we want to share our opinion that Steve Van Wagoner is the right person for Weber County Commissioner. His track record shows his commitment to our history, our youth, and our parks. He is a proven fighter, preserving Historic 25th Street and championing the creation of a regional recreational nonprofit. The most important duty of a county commissioner is to fight in preserving our way of life whether it is in the city or on the farm or in urban open space or in the nature that surrounds us.

As a youth soccer coach, we saw Steve transform an outdated, recreation soccer program that sent most of its fees to an out-of-the-area organization into a thriving, regional soccer nonprofit that invests all of its resources back into the community. We see his knowledge and experience helping ALL of our county’s youth.

We consider Steve a friend who shares our core values: Faith, Family, Integrity, and Passion.

In regards to Steve’s integrity: what you see is what you get with him. He will always listen to you and he will talk through any issue. His pragmatism and compassion keeps him grounded when finding solutions that benefit the whole community.

In regards to Steve’s passion: he is running because of his passion to help ALL residents in Weber County.

We’re voting for Steve because we feel like he best represents our values. Let’s have this be an election where we ALL are able to voice our values through the ballot box.
