I once read that a child will follow their parent’s example more than their advice. Well, if that’s the case then what worse example could parents be teaching their children with the election of someone of Donald J. Trump’s character or lack there of, his lack of moral fiber, ethical standards, not to mention character. In Trump you have an individual that despite taking the oath of office with one hand on the bible and the other raised to the best of his ability he would preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States of America. And once he saw that he had lost the 2020 presidential election, he lied to the American people that the election was stolen and wanted to terminate the same constitution he swore to uphold. He, Trump was impeached twice in his first term as president, and after his presidency ended, he was indicted in 4 state and federal cases involving falsifying business records to hide an alleged sexual encounter with a porn star while married, stealing classified documents then lying to the FBI that he had them, election interference, and inciting the January 6, 2021 insurrection of our capitol. So, what is a child supposed to learn from this but that it doesn’t make a difference if you break one law after another and the oath one takes as long as you belong to the right political party and appeal to the parent’s prejudice mindsets.
