In response to an inquiry from the Standard-Examiner, Northrop Grumman responded with a short emailed statement Thursday morning.

“There was an incident in one building at our Promontory, Utah facility this morning and we are working to determine the cause,” the statement reads. “Employees working in or near the building today are accounted for and there are no significant injuries reported.”

A cause of the explosion has not been released at this time.

No further information was immediately available.
