LAYTON — Davis County residents are going to have the opportunity to meet several candidates for elected office this coming week.

Weber State University’s Olene S. Walker Institute of Politics & Public Service will be hosting a “Meet the Candidates” event at the WSU Davis campus. The event will be held in the Stewart Ballroom from 6-8 p.m. on Monday.

According to Rachel Badali, WSU marketing and communications news coordinator, candidates who have committed to appear as of Thursday afternoon include Laura Bussey-Johnson, Bill Campbell, Katy Hall, Brigit Gerrard, Rob Leatham, Carlton Bowen, Lorri Rogers, Austin Hepworth, Joshua Smith, Aaron Willey, Cameron Dransfield, Marlo Oaks, Alisa Van Langeveld and Rod Hall.

The event is open to the public and refreshments will be provided.
