Art works sought for Community Art Show’s upcoming ‘Elements Show’
OGDEN — The Ogden art community is being called upon once again, this time to represent the elements of nature.
Last week, Ogden City Arts, Culture, & Events sent out a press release asking artists to contribute the Community Art Show’s upcoming “Elements Show.”
“We are excited to kick off the first show for 2025 with element-inspired artwork,” Danielle Bendinelli, Community Art Show coordinator, said in the release. “The beauty of these Community Art Shows is how inclusive they are to all ages and abilities, and this theme opens the door to a wide variety of interpretations. I hope to see a range of submissions, from flames or a beach painted by kids to aerodynamic sculptures and tangible minerals being utilized in mixed media pieces. This could be one of our biggest shows to date!”
Artists are asked to submit up to two works completed in the last two years by 4 p.m. on Feb. 24. The Elements Show will be displayed at Ogden’s Union Station March 21-May 2. For more information and to submit artwork, visit ogdencity.gov/878/Open-Artist-Calls.
