Plan Ogden announces general plan vision celebration

Attendees at a workshop to update Ogden's general plan lay out their visions for the city's future Wednesday, June 26, 2024.OGDEN — Plan Ogden announced this week that it will be holding a vision celebration to present a rough draft of the new general plan that residents and city staff alike have been working on for nearly a year.
“After months of input from the community, the Vision for Plan Ogden is ready to be shared,” a pamphlet on the event reads. “This event will be a showcase of the Vision, a chance to give input on things that still need to be tweaked, and a look ahead to the next phase of the project!”
The vision celebration is set open at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at Ogden Union Station in the Browning Theater. Free food and drinks will be provided. While previous general plan workshops have had separate sessions in English and Spanish, this event will be presented in both English and Spanish.
