Republican Rep. Blake Moore won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Utah on Wednesday. This will be Moore’s third two-year term in the House, having first been elected in 2020. Moore represents northern Utah, which includes the cities of Ogden and Brigham City. He defeated Democratic candidate Bill Campbell. Moore has been the vice chair of the House Republican Caucus since November 2023. The Associated Press declared Moore the winner at 1:26 a.m. EST.

Republican Mike Kennedy won election to Utah’s only open U.S. House seat on Wednesday, holding the seat for his party. Kennedy handily defeated Democratic nominee Glenn Wright. This will be Kennedy’s first term in Congress after serving in Utah’s Legislature since 2013. His congressional district spans eastern Utah and includes the cities of Orem and Provo. Republican Rep. John Curtis left the seat open this year to run for Mitt Romney’s open Senate seat. The Associated Press declared Kennedy the winner at 1:26 a.m. EST.

Republican Rep. Celeste Maloy won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Utah on Wednesday. Maloy will be serving a second term representing western Utah, including Salt Lake City. She serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the House Committee on Small Business. Maloy defeated Democratic candidate Nathaniel Woodward, an attorney and professor. The Associated Press declared Maloy the winner at 2:57 a.m. EST.

Republican Rep. Burgess Owens won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Utah on Wednesday. Owens beat Democrat Katrina Fallick-Wang to win a third term in the central Utah district. A former Super Bowl champion who played for the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders, Owens is currently one of four Black Republicans in the U.S. House. He opposes diversity and inclusion requirements in higher education and last summer called Vice President Kamala Harris a “DEI” candidate. Owens serves on the House Education and Workforce and House Transportation and Infrastructure committees. The Associated Press declared Owens the winner at 4:34 a.m. EST.
