People look over proposed scenarios during a Plan Ogden workshop to help build the city's new general plan at Ogden Union Station on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024.

OGDEN — As plans come together to reshape one of the road entrances to Ogden, the public’s input is being sought.

With the Utah Department of Transportation eyeing changes to the Interstate 15/24th Street interchange, Ogden officials are looking at what additional changes can be made along the 24th Street corridor leading to downtown.

According to a post on the Make Ogden Facebook page, Ogden City officials will hold a public workshop at 6 p.m. Thursday on the third floor of the Ogden Municipal Building. The meeting is promoted as “a wonderful opportunity to reimagine the area and create a fitting gateway to downtown Ogden.”

The event’s website said this is a part of Plan Ogden’s ongoing efforts to update the city’s General Plan.

The Facebook post notes that “festive cookies” also will be made available at Thursday’s workshop.
