OGDEN — The public is invited to participate with six campuses of Alpine Church for a gala to raise money for missionaries traveling to Ethiopia.

The 3rd Annual Globa Gala will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Friday, March 31, at HUB 801, 3525 Riverdale Road in Ogden.

Pastor Steve and Katie Bennetsen will travel soon to Ethiopia for full-time work as missionaries. Past events have supported missions in Uganda and Haiti, according to the church’s website.

“Spend a night celebrating all God has done through Alpine’s global missions, and what God is doing and going to do through pastor Steve & Katie,” said information distributed by the church.

The gala will include hors d’oeuvres and drinks during the social hour. 

Dinner will be a three-course catered meal.

Events of the evening will include a comedy show, music and a photo booth.

Cost is $25 per person. Sponsor a 10-person table for friends for $250. 

Attire is cocktail dress.
