Davis Arts Council announces Summer Nights with the Stars concert lineup

LAYTON — Summer concert season is on the horizon, bringing with it a full slate of performances to be held at Layton’s Kenley Amphitheater.

The Davis Arts Council on Thursday announced all of the headlining acts for the 2025 edition of its Summer Nights with the Stars concert series. And, as in year’s past, it’s a lineup spanning decades and multiple genres, with shows from country acts like Jo Dee Messina and Sawyer Brown to “Pocketful of Sunshine” singer Natasha Bedingfield and classic rock’s Loverboy.

“This lineup is packed with household names and unforgettable performances,” said Kym Ridl, Davis Arts Council’s director of communications, in a release. “Summer at The Kenley is always magical, and this season has shaped up to be one of our best yet.”

The Summer Nights with the Stars schedule is as follows:

  • June 9: An Evening with KC & The Sunshine Band
  • June 12: An Evening with The Spinners
  • June 21: Lead Singers of Classic Rock: Jason Scheff from Chicago & Tommy DeCarlo, formerly of Boston
  • June 23: An Evening with Sawyer Brown
  • July 8: Natasha Bedingfield
  • July 10: The Dreamboats
  • July 16: Portrait of Aretha: CeCe Teneal Celebrates the Queen of Soul
  • July 31: Jo Dee Messina
  • Aug. 16: Imagine: The Beatles Tribute!
  • Aug. 18: Burton Cummings
  • Aug. 23: Tony Jackson
  • Sept. 3: Loverboy
  • Sept. 12: Electric Avenue: The ’80s MTV Experience
  • Sept. 13: Atlanta Rhythm Section & Pure Prairie League

Single-show tickets go on sale May 6 at 10 a.m. while general admission season tickets will be available Monday. Tickets will be purchasable online at https://www.davisarts.org/, by phone at 801-546-8575 or in person at 1530 Layton Hills Parkway, Suite 104. Prices vary by show.

In addition to Summer Nights with the Stars, Davis Arts Council also announced on Thursday its 2025 Free Sunday Concert Series and Free Friday Film Series. For a full list of performers and films, go to the Davis Arts Council website. Films and free concerts start at 7 p.m.
