OGDEN — In an emoji-laden message expressing joy, thanks, excitement and more, Ogden Twilight organizers have filled in the blanks of who will perform at this year’s summer concert festival at the Ogden Amphitheater.
The newly announced performers will be Beck, the Flaming Lips, Röyksopp, Noah Cyrus with Julia Jacklin, Phantogram and Kaskade. They will join M83, Bon Iver, Cigarettes After Sex and Sylvan Esso, who had already been announced.
“The stars aligned in a major way this year,” Ogden Twilight said in a Facebook post Thursday, when the new list of performers was released. “So many wishlist artists that we never thought we’d see in Ogden will grace our little town and for ticket prices that frankly don’t make sense…”
Ogden Twilight organizers keep a lid on concert ticket prices in a bid to make the music available to a wider audience, though tickets tend to sell quickly. Most of the tickets for shows announced before Thursday sold out right away, the post said, “but Beck for $20?!? His last Utah Play was an arena!!”
The 10-date concert series starts on May 6 and ends on Sept. 25, with all shows at the Ogden Amphitheater, the outdoor venue in the city center. Here’s the lineup:
- May 6, M83 with Jeremiah Chiu
- June 30, Kaskade
- Aug. 9, Bon Iver
- Aug. 14, what’s dubbed “a special acoustic evening” with Beck
- Aug. 22, Sylvan Esso
- Aug. 23, Cigarettes After Sex
- Aug. 26, The Flaming Lips
- Aug. 31, Phantogram
- Sept. 6, Noah Cyrus with Julia Jacklin
- Sept. 25, Röyksopp

Tickets for the entire season of shows have been on sale, with just 400 left as of Tuesday. Individual tickets go on sale on Friday starting at 10 a.m. on 24tix.com for the shows by the performers announced Thursday.
“Thank you to all of you who continue to take a chance on this series year after year. Being able to share these experiences and bring these artists to town is truly the best job ever!” said Thursday’s Ogden Twilight post.
