New stops and exhibits to highlight March’s First Friday Art Stroll

OGDEN — New stops and exhibits are set to play into this week’s First Friday Art Stroll.

According to a press release from Ogden City Arts, Culture & Events, this week’s art stroll — happening from 6-9 p.m. — will feature two new locations.

“Both locations are on Washington Blvd.,” the release said. “Melina Robinson will be the featured artist at The Jungle Room Plant Co. Her work focuses on resin when creating pieces. Fiction is the other new art stroll stop location. They will feature work by Austin Luckett who works with Iron Pine and does metal prints.”

In addition to the new locations, a new exhibit will be debuting at Ogden Contemporary Arts.

“Ogden Contemporary Arts is proud to announce the opening of Healing Palette of Mystical Mestizaje, an inspiring solo exhibition by the esteemed Artist in Residence, Luis Alvaro Sahagún Nuño.,” the release said.

The exhibition runs March 1 through April 21.
