Nominations being sought for the 2025 Mayor’s Awards in the Arts

In a press release, Ogden City Arts announced that nominations have officially opened for the Ogden City Mayor’s Awards in the Arts this week. Ogden Mayor Ben Nadolski will host the awards ceremony later this year inside the Browning Theatre at Union Station, though a date has yet to be released.
“Arts speak to the hearts of the people in our community. They bring us together, give voice to our stories, and inspire us to build a better future,” Nadolski said in the release. “The Mayor’s Awards in the Arts are an opportunity to honor the people and organizations whose creativity and commitment make Ogden a more vibrant, connected, and beautiful place to live.”
Award categories include the following:
- Youth Artist
- Arts in Education
- Performing Arts
- Lifetime Contribution
- Visual Arts
- Folk Arts
- Literary Arts
- Media Arts
- Design Arts
- Arts Advocacy

Nominations will be accepted through 4 p.m. July 25.
