The Head & the Heart will perform in Ogden on Aug. 13.

OGDEN — Organizers of the Ogden Twilight concert series, which will kick off in June with Khruangbin, have announced a new show date featuring multiple artists.

Having just announced the May 9 arrival of their new album, “Aperture,” indie folk band The Head and The Heart will headline a show Aug. 13 in Ogden as part of a North American tour supporting the project.

The album’s first single, “After the Setting Sun,” dropped yesterday.

The Head and The Heart will be joined on the show by indie folk trio Wilderado and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Katie Pruitt.

“We’ve done it! We’ve finally got The Head & The Heart in Ogden,” an announcement post on Facebook read. “We had them booked for our 2020 season, but we all remember what happened that year. This is the last artist we needed to get back on the roster to rebuild the year that we lost.”

Individual tickets for the show will go on sale next week; season tickets from $175 are available now at https://www.24tix.com/p/ogden-twilight/.

Organizers also announced that the full schedule and all headlining acts will be announced on Tuesday.

As it stands, Khruangbin and John Carroll Kirby will play the Ogden Amphitheater on June 1 and Modest Mouse will be in town June 28 before The Head and The Heart plays Aug. 13.

Individual tickets to the shows not already on sale will go up at 10 a.m. on Thursday. For more information, go to https://www.ogdentwilight.com/.

Starting at $4.32/week.
