Our dear mother, Karolina K. Wriedt (Bissle), beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother and Oma sadly passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 89. She was a wonderful mom who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance.

She was the daughter of Hans-Johann and Augusta (Kochloffe) Bissle born in Germany on December 27, 1935. She married the love of her life James W. Wriedt on January 26, 1956. They had five children Brigitte (Bernard), Debra (Bob), Steven (MaryAnn), Tamra (John), Heidi (Mack). She had 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and her beloved dog Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hans-Johann and Augusta Bissle, her husband James W. Wriedt, two sisters Genoeva Leitenmeiner, Eva-Maria Dipre, one brother Hans-Joachim Bissle, two son-in-laws Bernard Geyer, Sergio Diaz, one niece Ilsa Greppmeier and one great-great grandchild Karolina Nicholas. She leaves behind one sister Renate Jackson, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was a friend to many; a cherished member of the Ogden community. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love and strength. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and family. She loved camping, knitting, crocheting, crafting, and dancing.

To commemorate her incredible journey and celebrate the love she spread, we invite you to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.

The viewing will be held on Thursday March 27, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with a rosary to follow at Myers Mortuary, 845 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday March 28, 2025 at Saint James Catholic Church located at 495 N Harrison Blvd. Ogden UT 84404. Graveside Services will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N Monroe Blvd, Ogden, Utah 84404.
