Nancy Carol Shriber

Mar 21, 2025

1980 – 2025

Nancy Carol Shriber was born on November 12, 1980 to Lois Carol Shriber and Sonne Shriber in Ogden, Utah. She lived 44 years 4 months and 4 days and passed away on March 16, 2025 after a fearless and courageous 2 1/2 year battle against breast cancer. She passed peacefully at home with her bonded love and husband, Jesse Charles Roundy, by her side.

Nancy was a beam of sunshine as a child and her radiance carried on throughout her life. She excelled as a dancer in her early years and enjoyed long walks with her Mother. At the age of 17 she gave birth to her firstborn son, Damen Johnston, and married his father Shaine Johnston, although the two later divorced.

In 2012, Nancy began dating the love of her life, Jesse Roundy, and gave birth to their son, Jack Roundy, in 2013 and daughter, Aurora Roundy, in 2016. Although the two never legally married, they bonded themselves in love before their Gods and endearingly referred to themselves as Husband and Wife.

Nancy, Jesse, and the three children enjoyed a life of fun and adventure together. They cherished yearly camping trips, early morning mountain hikes, and family yoga; full moons, sunsets, and eclipses; seasonal celebrations and holidays and a love to create. It was during these later years that Nancy found her creative calling as a jewelry maker. Nancy put her heart and soul into her work and every piece she made will forever hold a whisper of her vibrant spirit.

Nancy is survived by her husband Jesse, her children Damen Johnston (Nikki), Jack, and Aurora, her sisters Susan Heiner (Brent), Tammy Montgomery (Gordon), and Kathy Carver (Kelly), and brothers Bob Shriber (Tawny) and Scott Shriber (Missy), and her mother Lois. Nancy is preceded in death by her Father Sonne, brother Dean Shriber, and sister-in-law Linda Shriber.

Nancy’s family would like to compile a book of memories that will give her children a glimpse into the magical and adventurous life that Nancy shared with her friends and family. Please take a moment to gather any pictures or write down any memories you have with Nancy, whether big or small, all will be appreciated, and send them to nancysmems@gmail.com.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 24th at 6:30 PM with a viewing from 4:30 to 6:15 PM at Myers Mortuary located at 845 S Washington Blvd in Ogden.
