Robyn Ann Burton

July 17, 1959 — March 16, 2025
For 34 years, Robyn was my “Fig”. She was too good to be true. A figment of my imagination. Someone special that I never expected to be blessed with. I met her in a scuba diving class, and she never let me forget that I didn’t share my air. She was my travel companion, always ready for an adventure. Robyn meant so much to so many people. Kind, loving, with a mission to take care of everyone with her whole heart. Not a day went by that she didn’t help someone. She will be missed by so many.
Robyn passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at her home.
Born in Ogden, Utah to Jessie Clay and Rose Loretta Roskelley Kennedy, Robyn was raised in Clearfield, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High School. She enrolled in a travel school and became a travel agent, an accomplishment she was very proud of. She worked for several travel agencies, Cruise.com and eventually opened her own agency.
She was an avid scuba diver, Divemaster, and Assistant Instructor. Scuba diving and travel were some of the best times we shared.
Robyn retired from the IRS where she had a very special group of coworkers.
Robyn loved the outdoors and her cabin in Lava Hot Springs. The cabin was her go-to place. She liked nothing better than spending a day at the cabin with the grandkids and sprinting off to Yellowstone Park to search for grizzly bears.
Her cooking was more than just meals, it was love served on a plate, creating memories that will forever linger in our hearts. Though she’s no longer with us, her spirit will always be a part of us, living on in the stories we share and the traditions she passed down.
If she wasn’t at the cabin, she was probably at gymnastics, a soccer game, an ice hockey rink or volleyball game cheering for the grandkids.
Robyn is survived by her current husband of 34 years, William; her first husband, Randy; children, Brekka and Christopher; daughter-in-law, Amy; grandchildren, Drew, Jessie, Hayden, Braxtin, Kora and Kyson; great grandson, Luke; and sister, Karen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Rose, brothers, Kenneth, Stephen and Wayne.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 South State Street. The family will meet with friends on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
