It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Joeline Haycock, who died peacefully on March 13th, 2025, at the age of 83. Joeline, a cherished resident of Ogden, Utah, leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born on November 6th, 1941, to Jack and Alta Bell Sockrider, Joeline’s life was a testament to the enduring strength of family. Her marriage to Don I Haycock blessed her with six children, a bond tragically marked by the loss of one child on the very day of her birth. This heartbreaking experience only served to deepen Joeline’s compassion and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a vibrant tapestry of nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her warmth and spirit.

Joeline was a woman of remarkable character. Her generosity knew no bounds, always extending a helping hand to those in need, both within her family and neighbors. She possessed a unique personality, one that radiated warmth, humor, and an infectious zest for life. Her sharp wit and ability to find the silver lining in any situation brought joy to all around her. Her kindness, her empathy, and her unwavering dedication to her family will be treasured memories for generations to come. She worked at McKay Dee for 16 years and retired in 1997

A celebration of Joeline’s life will be held at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park on Friday, March 21st, at 11:00 am. A viewing will precede the service from 9:30 am to 10:40 am at Myers Mortuary in Ogden. We invite you to join us in honoring her life and sharing your cherished memories. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
