Delores Elaine (Daniels) Lewis

Delores (Dee) Elaine (Daniels) Lewis passed away peacefully at her home in Sunset, UT, with her family at her side, on March 2nd, 2025. She was born on December 10th, 1931, to George Daniels and Bessie E. Griffith in Commodore, Pennsylvania. She attended Green Township High School, where she met the love of her life, John Ronald Lewis.

Dee worked various jobs after high school until she married John on May 14th, 1953. After celebrating 71 years of marriage, John passed away on August 23rd, 2024. She was a devoted mom of three daughters: Robin, Susan, and Kathy. John, Dee and their daughters lived all over the world supporting John’s 30-year career in the United States Air Force. They resided in Sunset, UT for the last 50 years.

Dee loved to sing and was in her church choir as a young girl. She also loved gardening and could often be found tending to her flowers and enjoying the sunshine. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Her friendships encompassed all aspects of her life, and each was special to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John, daughter Susan, and her nine siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Robin (Monte) Osiek of Hooper, Kathy (Dan) LemMon of Riverdale; grandchildren John (Michelle) Ecklund of Harrisville, Daina (Billy) Hughes of Roy, Kelsie (Trevor Cullens) LemMon of Roy, Daniel (Yianna) LemMon of South Weber, Clint (Linda) Osiek of Hooper, Kyle (Andi) Osiek of Clinton, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. Dee’s family would like to thank the many special care givers who entered her life during the last year.

Funeral services will be held the March 15th, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at Roy Christian Church, 4347 S 1900 W, Roy, UT 84097. Interment to follow services at Hooper City Cemetery. In Liew of flowers, donations can be made to Roy Christian Church.
