David W. Child
David W. Child passed peacefully at his home in Mountain Green at the age of 80 on March 5, 2025. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Sylvia. They met at B.Y.U. and were married in the Oakland Temple. He was the proud father of 4 sons, Micah, Ezra (Allison), Joseph (Holly), and Caleb. He also leaves six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at noon on Friday, March 14 at the Highlands ward chapel, 5378 Old Highway Road in Mountain Green, Utah. Viewings will be held Thursday evening, March 13th at the Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, from 6 to 8 o’clock; and in the Highlands Ward before the noon services from 10:30 to 11:30, March 14.
