Steven (Skurv) Brady Liston

Mar 6, 2025

September 10, 1962 – February 27, 2025

Steven Brady Liston passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 62. He lived a full and adventurous life, always finding joy in the simple things–whether camping under the stars, hunting and fishing with family and friends, or searching for his next great find (always at an amazing deal) as a passionate collector.

Steven is survived by his son, Travis Brady (Tara) Liston; his daughter, Amanda Lynn Liston; and his beloved grandchildren, Greyson, Charlie, and Lincoln. He also leaves behind his sisters, LaMinda Madenwald and Debra (Robert) Wilde; and his brother, Kelton (Jeneanne) Liston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and William, and his brother, Clayton (LeAnn) Liston.

Steve had a successful career at Hill Air Force Base working for the Department of Defense for many years. Those who knew Steven will remember him best for his love of the outdoors and his cherished time spent at his property, where he was happiest with a bloody mary in hand, surrounded by great company while listening to good music. Whether riding his motorcycle on the open road or sitting by the campfire with his dogs by his side, he embraced life with a free spirit and a deep love for his family.

Steven will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, and the countless moments of laughter and adventure he leaves behind.

Steven will be buried at his land, “Life is Good in Talmage”, in Duchesne County on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11 AM.

A celebration of life will be held at Jeremiah’s Restaurant in the banquet room on Monday March 10, 2025, from 5-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating on Steven’s behalf to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Fly high, Steve. We will miss you.
