It is with a tender heart that we celebrate the life of Saundra Wells, a cherished soul who graced this world on April 29, 1944, in Brigham City, Utah, born to Marion and Reva Gilbert Roche. She returned home to her loving Heavenly Father on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was a woman of faith, a loving family member, and a reliable friend to many. Saundra was a light in the lives of those she touched, embodying the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Saundra was a devoted bank teller who loved her work and the community she served. Her dedication to her role mirrored her commitment to her life’s journey. Saundra had a spirited love for sewing, shopping, and her cherished cats. She found joy in the simplest things and taught everyone around her to do the same.

She married the love of her life, Darrell Wells, in December 1963. Their love story was one for the books, filled with laughter, adventure, and an unbreakable bond that lasted 51 wonderful years. They traveled extensively with Toyota Motors, creating unforgettable memories.

Saundra is survived by her beloved niece, Nicole Deschamps, her step-son, Tony Wells, and her brother, Leon Roche; 3 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; her parents, Marion Roche and Reva Gilbert; two sisters; one brother; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and her husband’s parents.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Aegis Home Health and Kristen and Sylvia for their unwavering support and care during Saundra’s journey.
