Louise Francis

December 1, 1935 – February 16, 2025
Louise was born December 1, 1935, to Hyrum Earl Facer and Leona Holt Facer in Ogden, Utah.
Education was an important part of her life. She graduated from the University of Utah and then received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii. She taught at South High School, Brigham Young University and Weber State College. She was a counselor for Box Elder School District for 25 years. An educational highlight was a Fulbright Scholarship to Mexico.
She married Newell “Tim” Francis on September 6, 1966 in the Salt Lake City Temple. She enjoyed many callings in the LDS church and loved all of the people with whom she served.
She is survived by three children: Susan (Lee) Hurren, Nancy (David) Michels, and Stephen (Melissa) Francis; two step-sons: Timothy (Jari) Francis and John Lee Francis. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, fifteen step-great grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Brigham City, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. A Viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
