Barry Wayne Rohmer, 56

February 28, 1968 – February 27, 2025
Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend walked home to heaven and completed his valiant mission here on earth unexpectedly on February 27, 2025. Barry was born to Gary and Janice (Tobias) Rohmer on February 28, 1968. He was born and raised in Brigham City, Utah. Barry was his Dad’s lifelong best bud, they enjoyed countless trips hunting (where Barry was one heck of a shot!) and fishing together. Barry was a natural athlete playing basketball, football and all-star baseball in his youth. He excelled in high school football playing for Box Elder and Bonneville High schools, earning all-state honors. Barry graduated from Bonneville High School class of 1986.
Barry was an avid power lifter in his younger years and was always proud of his impressive max bench press of 415lbs. He spent many hours working out with his dad and nephews at the Body Shop Gym. Barry was a gentle giant with piercing blue eyes, a beautiful smile, the biggest, kindest heart and the most strong and courageous spirit. He was a special soul; a teacher and example to all. He worked in the construction field for a time and has been an exemplary employee at Logan Texas Roadhouse for the last several years.
He never complained and always made sure to say, “Love ya”. He was a lover of the simple things in life and couldn’t wait for his next cup of coffee at J&D’s, his moms home cooked meals; never leaving the table without saying “Thanks Mom, love ya.”, spending time with his family and being outdoors.
Barry is survived by his loving and devoted parents Gary and Janice Rohmer; two sisters Jamie (Spencer) Greene, Holly (Brad) Holgate and his adoring nephews, Nick Greene, Cameron Greene, Jake Holgate, Logan Holgate; nieces; Katelin Beauregard, Hannah Watson, Chloe Holgate, Lucy Holgate and 8 great nieces and 2 great nephews.
All though he never married, he was proceeded in death by his longtime girlfriend Dixie, his grandparents Arthur and Marjorie Tobias and Harold and Norma Rohmer and many loving aunts and uncles.
Yep! Barry, we love you dearly and will miss you deeply.
