Ogden, Utah – Kenneth Lee Robertson, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 at home.

He was born in July 1934 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Gerald Grant Robertson and Dorothy Harris Robertson. He married Verla Gay Vaughn on September 15, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He had lived in Ogden, Utah and Alexandria, Virginia. He was an active member of the LDS Church and held many positions including Bishop, High Council, and Stake Mission President. He served a mission with his wife Verla to Nauvoo, Illinois.

Mr. Robertson retired from the Federal Government after 34 years’ service. He served in the Naval Air Reserve for 8 years.

He was active in and had served as president of the Ogden Pioneer Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers, he also had been active in and served as Chairman of the Salt Lake Section of the American Society for Quality Control.

Surviving are his wife Verla, of 70 years, children Scott (Lori) Robertson, Laurie (Rob) Hadley, 18 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Diane (Fred) Parry, brothers Glenn, Dale, Wayne, and Grant.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the LDS Ward located at 300 Gramercy Ave., Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 3rd from 6 to 8 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., and Friday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment Ogden City Cemetery.
