Denice Olsen
Denice Olsen, 82, passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2025, in Riverdale, Utah. Born on November 21st, 1942, in Ogden Utah, she was the beloved daughter of Dewayne Rogerson and Bernice “Billie” Wheat. Denny lived in Huntsville for many years and graduated from Weber High School.
Denice married Leon Wright in 1961; and had two beloved children, they later divorced. She then married Gerald “Jar” Olsen.
She is survived by her loving children, Kristy (Lisa Parker) Kranendonk and Randy (Cari) Wright; her grandchildren, Sean (Collenia) Kranendonk, Madison and Miya Wright; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee Kranendonk, Felix and Rowan Visage and Nineveh Gallegos. She is also survived by her siblings Joan (Howard) Gafford, Claire Dowdy, Terri (Wayne) Hurlbut, Brett (Sherri) Smith. She treasured her time later in life spent with her companion Richard “Dick” Nerdin. Denice was predeceased by her husband Gerald Olsen, her grandson Sean, her father Dewayne, her mother Bernice “Billie” Smith and stepfather Jack Smith.

A service will be held at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT at 11 AM on Tuesday April 29, 2025. We would love all who knew her to come and celebrate her life at 1:00 pm on Tuesday following the services, at the Ogden Eagles, 975 Wall Ave, Ogden, UT, 84404
Denice will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
