Edward Paul Bovero
October 19, 1938 – March 31, 2025
Our beloved Eddie, 86, of Riverdale Utah passed away March 31, 2025. He was born and raised in Ogden Utah to Louis B. Bovero and Pauline A. (Richins) Bovero. He attended Ogden High School and served in the U.S. Army. Returning home he worked for Smith’s Food King Bakery decorating wedding cakes. Afterwards Ed spent over 40 years working as a professional auto body repairman owning and operating Ed’s Body Shop and Bovero Auto Sales. He was an avid fisherman enjoying the rivers of Montana and Wyoming.
He is survived by his son Kim Wanner; grandson Joseph Wanner; great grandson Riley Wanner; granddaughter Christina (Ryan) Vanbeekum; siblings Connie (John) Slater; Brent (LaRene) Bovero; sister-in-law Melinda; many nephews and nieces and his loyal dog âChampã. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; infant sons Jeffrey and David; sister PattyLou; brothers Carl, Howard, Richie, Steve and Gerald. Eddie’s Family expresses their appreciation and thanks to his homecare nurse Maria and his physical therapist Patti and all his neighbors for their compassion and thoughtfulness in the care they provided to him.
Viewing is Monday April 14 10am to 11am followed by a brief service at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836 36th st Ogden. Interment is at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch 1718 Combe Road. Ogden Ut.
