Myron Ross Muir

January 20, 1954 – September 20, 2024

Myron Ross Muir – 70, passed away on September 20, 2024. He was born on January 20, 1954, in Aberdeen, Idaho, to Edward and Juanita (Feld) Muir.

He graduated Layton High School in 1972 and retired from Hill Air Force Base.

He is preceded in death by both parents and his sister, JoAnn Ward.

He is survived by his three children, Jamie Kenny, Heather (Beau) Loughlin and Ryan (Lisa) Muir. Grandchildren: Payton (Adam) Summers, Caiden Sturgis, Cash Loughlin, Cole Loughlin, Maddux Muir, Elliott Muir and Andie Muir. Great Grandchildren: Griffin Summers and Cohen Summers. He is also survived by his siblings, Ralph (Dorothy) Muir, Charlotte (Randy) Nye and Jon (Stacy) Muir and numerous nieces and nephews.

He spent his most recent years in Overton, Nevada, where he cherished the company of his friends and family.

Myron had a passion for fishing and enjoyed riding his side by side, often creating joyful memories at his favorite spot, Devils Creek, Idaho. He found true happiness in the moments spent with his grandchildren and the camaraderie of friends, especially at the serene grounds of Devils Creek.

Myron’s spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love for the outdoors and the friendships he nurtured throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring. Friends and Family will be notified.
