Sep 27, 2024

October 11, 1950 – September 20, 2024

Andrew Watt (Orbie) Mungall, 73, of Willard, Utah passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, at home. He was born October 11, 1950, in Cedartown, Georgia to Andrew Watt and Mary Mungall.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emie, and their son, Kurt Johnson. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Stuart Heath and her husband, Wayne, of Beaufort, South Carolina.

Watt grew up on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, South Carolina where he was active in the Boy Scouts. He later became a Boy Scout Leader. Outdoor life was always a priority.

Watt graduated from Coker College and worked during the summers at Yellowstone National Park during college. The West “called his name” and he rarely returned to the East Coast.

While out West, he worked in the Seismic industry as a Permit Agent for Typhoon Energy. He was active in the Mountain Man Rendezvous culture and once collected homeowner’s insurance after his buckskin teepee burned. He was also the Representative of the Northwest Tin Can Tourist and enjoyed all aspects of the rallies.

Watt also served in the Navy followed by the Army Reserves. Honorably discharged from service in 1996.

The family would like to thank all of the dedicated friends from Applegate Hospice who gave loving care and support along the journey at the end. The compassionate care and guidance during this difficult time was invaluable. They helped Watt live his life to the fullest-with dignity.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2025. Details will follow.
