Tonya Dee Boney

Tonya Dee Boney was born June 23rd 1980. She left to be with our heavenly father Friday, September 20th 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Tonya was a very kind, compassionate woman, someone you could lean on. She had such a loud and outgoing personality. “The original green-eyed bandit” as she called herself.

Tonya enjoyed singing and dancing any chance she got, she also loved camping and the peace she felt being outdoors. Any room she entered would light up from her contagious smile and laugh. Some of her favorite things to do were pulling pranks and cracking jokes. She loved scaring people whether it was telling stories or jumping out at them. She always made herself laugh. Tonya loved going on long car rides and dancing with her Best Friend Jared Healy.

Tonya was a dedicated strong-willed Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and Friend. Tonya was loved by many and made a big, big impact in so many people’s lives. When her mind and heart was set on something there was no changing her mind, she truly had such a beautiful soul. When you see a butterfly whether it’s a picture or a real one just know that’s her showing she’s there with you. Tonya is survived by her children Jenaya Collins, Lydia Boney, Shawna Collins (Cameron Hill), Diesel Christensen (Her favorite and only son), and Delilah Frausto. Her Mother Tilda Boney. Her siblings Nasario Boney (Ashley), Sonya Boney (twin), Maxie Boney, Ashley Boney, Marissa Hoddy, and Michele Klema. Her grandkids Santiago Loya, Ja’Zaiah Loya, Luka Hill, Za’Rinna Cunningham, Cameron Hill Jr., Ma’Leiha Cunningham, and Bentley Hill, and many Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, and Aunts. She is preceded in death by her Father Max Boney, her husband Jay Christensen, her Brother Orsindoe, her Niece Anaiya Boney, and many other Family Members.

Her viewing will be on Friday, September 27, 2024, 1pm-3pm, at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd. 84404 Ogden Ut. A Memorial service and potluck will follow at 3:30pm, at Calvary Christian Church, 4737 S 1900 W, Roy, Ut.
