Ann Bennett Park

Ann Bennett Park returned to her Heavenly Father and waiting family members on September 4, 2024, at the age of 77. Ann was born on January 1, 1947, in Ogden Utah to Donald Earl Bennett and Donna Hooper Bennett.

She was raised in Hooper and graduated from Weber High School in 1965. She attended Weber College where she met the love of her life, Terry L. Park. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 17, 1966. They spent 58 years together and raised their three children: David (Stacey) Park, Duane (Shelly) Park, and Sheri (Pete) Sliger (both deceased), in West Point, Utah.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many leadership positions, including Primary and Young Women Presidents and Relief Society Compassionate Service Leader for many years. She and Terry served as stake missionaries and later for five years as missionaries at the Ogden Home Storage facility. She also served as PTA President at West Point Elementary School. She was employed at Sew and Save fabric store for 38 years.

She enjoyed traveling, all sports, sewing, crocheting, camping, and shooting guns with her children and grandchildren. She attended all of their school, concert, and sport activities. They were her Pride and Joy!

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Eugene Arie (Bud) VanDeGraaff, daughter Sheri Ann Sliger and son-in-law Peter Sliger. Ann is survived by her husband and two sons, brother Keith Bennett, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a special nephew and his two children.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W. Roy, UT. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 14, at the Hooper Park Ward, 5601 S 6100 W, Hooper, UT. at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing prior to services from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Interment in the West Point Cemetery.
